This was a 45 hour long project that I completed my senior year of undergrad. It was for a Senior Studio class where we were given free reign to come up with a concept and execute it. I had been wanting to work on a mixed media piece for a while so I planned out this project. A piece where I can paint on both canvas and cloth, embroider details, and stitch the pieces together. My goal for this project was to have a 3D, textures piece with subjects that I enjoy painting. I enjoy portraits, flowers, and even painting bees [although I don’t like real bees!]
