This painting is one of the first pieces that I came up with the concept entirely on my own. One day I started thumbnailing this piece—I drew a woman and started adding bees around her. I was able to find a few references that I could put together and make it and this is how it turned out. This was when I found out that although I do not like bees, they are quite fun to paint (:
